Out with the brand new Panasonic Lumix G1. A really enjoyable camera. Found this capture beside an unknown way.

a cityscape & a smart guy

This is from my first roll with my brand new Olympus XA. And it’s really brand new. It was all in it’s original box, never used. This rocks. I’ve traded in my Rollei 35S into the XA in Freiburgs best Camera’s Repair Store DIMAS Fototechnik. On the Rollei’s downside is the lack of a coupled viewfinder and so i was looking for a small easy to use rangefinder with an excellent lens.

This two pictures are the first results of my new baby. It’s from yesterdays photowalk with my workmate Martin on the second photo. Smart guy, street photographer, Pentaxian & Leicafan. To be continued.

22 dreams

leave a comment »

A week ago i was photographing a wedding ceremony. They had 30 pieces of balloons. Here are 21 of them. The lantern is Dream 22: The missing dream. As Dreams #1-#21 are fading, #22 will shine electrified everytime it’s dark. love. The idea is a deconstructed reinterpretation of Paul Weller’s Album 22 Dreams which featured 21 Songs and a sheet of paper with Dream 22 as the missing dream.

nothing special

Nothing special today. I’ve made a fast test of a colour film. 24 shots in 40 minutes. Developed and scanned. The Voigtländer V200. It’s made by Fuji and uses four colour layers. Nice film, very neutral, not that saturated as the Fuji. Camera: Rollei 35S.

tadao ando concrete

This is from my 2006 series of the vitra design museum. A detail of the vitra conference pavillion. I like the concrete minimalistic style of andos work very much. It is emptiness and perfection. It is kind of zen.

La Déesse

From yesterdays photowalk with my “second hand bought in new condition” Ricoh Caplio GX. Just a road scene, but one with a Citroen DS. I had to react very fast, the stoplight for the DS went green, no time for framing.
